TRF Board Present - Chip, George, Kyle, Mark & Mike.
Open Session
George proposed that the interest earned on the McElroy Fund be invested back into that fund (as of meeting - $664.86 Approved).
George proposed endowment fund interest be moved to savings to earn and for future TRF needs (as of meeting $2158.50 Approved).
Approved – Regatta payment of $3000 to McElroy fund and $3000 to Anderton L. "Pete" Bentley, Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Leaving $5000 in regatta account as seed money for the next year. Balance of funds would be transferred into TRF Axos Savings to earn interest. Note there is still an outstanding bill for the regatta.
We will stick with prior to Cleveland 9/19/2026. Discussion on if 10/3 would be an option but that adds two conflicting regional races.
External to BH. Discussed Chip's research. Discussion took place. Agreement to approve up to $7000. TRF taking this as catching up in safety. Kyle and Chip to research and also educate BH programs on how this works and what each team can have stored. Location to be determined (pen or back sidewalk between the doors). Reasons for both were discussed. This is to take place prior to 2026 Spring Rowing.
Kyle will be in town over Thanksgiving. Evaluate TRF boats and make a list if we should repair and ship out. Ergs will also be brought into the Repair Bay that are TRF and determine value and work on selling over winter.
SUNDAY 12/7 - All hands on deck to winterize and hang the 10 erg hangers. Start time: 11am.
Kyle - Begin to work on a 1, 3, 5 year plan for TRF.
Mike - Need to pay attention to shell space - TRC has 5 new boats and noted for more. Storage is a premium. TRC needs to be responsible like other teams. There is no more space.
Mike - TRF / Regatta still has a dock issue moving forward for the regatta.
Closed Session — TRC Presentation & Discussion (On Going)
Nothing to report. TRC to be working on their own social media and web site to be more visible. Kyle noted that is what he does for a living. Mike - TRC has a FB page and is happy to pass that established account to someone in TRC.
